In order to show your FPS in CSGO, you will need to enable the console option in the game settings. Once you have done that, you can open the console by pressing the ` key on your keyboard. From there, type in the command "cl_showfps 1" without the quotation marks of course and press enter. Your FPS should now be displayed in the top right corner of your screen.
Follow the visual steps to show your fps, if you need them:
- Head to game settings and select ''Yes'' to enable your console.
2. Open the console using the tilde key (~), type cl_showfps 1, and press enter
3. Your fps now shows up in the top left corner by default.
What is a FPS?
FPS stands for "frames per second" and is a measure of how well your computer can render graphics. The higher the FPS, the smoother the game will run. Most competitive CS:GO players aim for at least 250 FPS, but anything above 125 FPS is generally considered good.
